Surf City Barbeque is a family owned & operated restaurant specializing in whole hog BBQ that is cleaver chopped & prepared with an eastern NC style vinegar based sauce.
All of our side dishes are prepared fresh daily using old southern recipes that have been perfected over the generations.
Pictured on the left is our POBO BBQ sandwich. This creation from chef Guy Royal uses two classics of North Carolina cuisine, Pork BBQ and Corn Bread, to create this mouth tingling, stomach pleasing sandwich.
First we start with a piece of fried corn bread, then heap on the pork BBQ and homemade coleslaw, another piece of fried corn bread and then top it with our honey bbq sauce. Yummy!
